This town-centre hotel with over 80 bedrooms knew that a fixed pricing strategy was limiting their revenue potential, with its competitors instead using dynamic pricing to steal market share on days when demand was low and simultaneously to generate higher accommodation revenues when demand was high.

The hotel owner engaged MavREV to introduce a new pricing strategy, maximise the market position of the property and implement a new Channel Manager that would integrate seamlessly with its existing Property Management System (PMS) and facilitate an increased number of connections to new distribution channels.

MavREV introduced a dynamic pricing strategy and applied new inventory controls to optimise revenue from various sources of business, configured and implemented the Channel Manager and subsequently managed both the Channel Manager and the PMS.

The property increased Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) by 63% Year-Over-Year (YOY) and over the same twelve-month period grew Total Revenue by £881k, exceeding budget expectations by £265k.
